Leader in emissions offsetting with Italian projects
Thanks to the direct relationship with farmers, the technology used, and our standard, we are proud to have involved market leaders in the regeneration of Salento.
CO₂ offsetting is the process through which a company balances its residual emissions by investing in projects that remove or avoid carbon dioxide emissions.
In the case of carbon credits, each credit represents one ton of CO₂e removed or avoided. Offsetting does not replace the reduction of emissions, but addresses the residual portion that cannot be eliminated in the short term.
Yes. Ours are Italian CO₂ offsetting projects, developed in the agricultural sector with a direct impact on the territory. Currently, we are focused on Salento, in Puglia, to involve companies in the agricultural regeneration of this area affected by Xylella.
This allows us to offer carbon credits with greater traceability, control, and consistency with corporate strategies oriented toward local sustainability and territorial regeneration.
Quantification is carried out through a rigorous approach validated by RINA against ISO 14064-2, which considers:
- definition of an initial baseline
- measurement of the agricultural practices adopted
- calculation of carbon removals in soil and biomass
- periodic monitoring
- independent verifications
Credits are issued only on the basis of removals actually measured, according to an ex-post approach.
The process includes:
- Analysis of residual corporate emissions
- Definition of carbon credit requirements
- Selection of the project
- Cancellation of credits from the registry and issuance of the offsetting certificate
- Access to the monitoring platform and communication support
It is possible to activate both standard offsets and customized projects.
Immediately after offsetting, we send the certificate stating the number of credits purchased and cancelled, the reason for the offset, and the transaction hash on the Blockchain. You will also receive a link to the supported project with the registry of all offsets performed on that project.
We will create your profile on our platform where you can find the history of all your offsets. Finally, we will provide you with a communication kit to guide you in promoting your commitment.
Yes. Our Italian offsetting projects generate:
- soil regeneration
- economic support for farmers
- biodiversity protection
- territorial enhancement
- support for the Italian olive oil supply chain
Each credit contributes not only to climate impact but also to local socio-economic development.
Yes, if used correctly.
Offsetting should only be applied to residual emissions, after adopting internal reduction strategies.
High-integrity carbon credits can be integrated into ESG pathways and corporate sustainability plans, avoiding greenwashing practices.
